PERFORMANCE MEASURES.
SEC. 127. PERFORMANCE MEASURES. Section 207 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5116f) is amended—(1) in paragraph (1), by striking “a Statewide network of community-based, prevention-focused, family resource and support programs” and inserting “community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect”;(2) by striking paragraph (3), and inserting the following:“(3) shall demonstrate that they will have addressed unmet needs identified by the inventory and description of current services required under section 205(3);”;(3) in paragraph (4)—(A) by inserting “and parents with disabilities,” after “children with disabilities,”; and(B) by striking “evaluation of” the first place it appears and all that follows through “under this title” and inserting “evaluation of community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect, and in the design, operation and evaluation of the networks of such community-based and prevention-focused programs”; (4) in paragraph (5), by striking “, prevention-focused, family resource and support programs” and inserting “and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect”;(5) in paragraph (6), by striking “Statewide network of community-based, prevention-focused, family resource and support programs” and inserting “community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect”; and(6) in paragraph (8), by striking “community based, prevention-focused, family resource and support programs” and inserting “community-based and prevention-focused programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families to prevent child abuse and neglect”.
