SEC. 1079. ETHICS MATTERS.(a) Political Service of Personnel.—Section 7323(b)(2)(B)(i) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—(1) in subclause (XII), by striking “or” at the end; and118 STAT. 3696(2) by inserting after subclause (XIII) the following new subclause:“(XIV) the Office of the Director of National Intelligence; or”. (b) Deletion of Information About Foreign Gifts.—Section 7342(f)(4) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—(1) by inserting “(A)” after “(4)”;(2) in subparagraph (A), as so designated, by striking “the Director of Central Intelligence” and inserting “the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency”; and(3) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:“(B) In transmitting such listings for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Director of National Intelligence may delete the information described in subparagraphs (A) and (C) of paragraphs (2) and (3) if the Director certifies in writing to the Secretary of State that the publication of such information could adversely affect United States intelligence sources.”.(c) Exemption From Financial Disclosures.—Section 105(a)(1) of the Ethics in Government Act (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended by inserting “the Office of the Director of National Intelligence,” before “the Central Intelligence Agency”.
