SEC. 1303. VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR PENSION RECIPIENTS. (a) Eligibility.—Subsection (a)(2) of section 524 is amended by striking out “who is awarded pension during the program period” and inserting in lieu thereof “is awarded pension during the program period, or a veteran who was awarded pension before the beginning of the program period,”. (b) Extension of Program Period.—Subsections (a)(4) and (b)(4)(A) of such section are each amended by striking out “January 31, 1989” and inserting in lieu thereof “January 31, 1992”. (c) Health-Care Eligibility.—Section 525(b)(2) is amended by striking out “January 31, 1989” and inserting in lieu thereof “January 31, 1992”.
