VIRTUAL TRAINING COCKPIT OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM

VIRTUAL TRAINING COCKPIT OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM(TRANSFER OF FUNDS)Sec. 1029. Upon enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall make the following transfer of funds: Provided, That funds so transferred shall be merged with and shall be available for the same purpose and for the same time period as the appropriation to which transferred: Provided further, That the authority provided in this section is in addition to any other transfer authority available to the Department of Defense: Provided further, That the amounts shall be transferred between the following appropriations in the amounts specified: From: Under the heading “Aircraft Procurement, Army, 2004/2006”, $2,000,000. To: Under the heading “Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Army, 2004/2005”, $2,000,000: Provided further, That these funds may only be used for the Virtual Training Cockpit Optimization Program: Provided further, That the amount made available by the transfer of funds in or pursuant to this section is designated as an emergency requirement pursuant 119 STAT. 256 to section 402 of the conference report to accompany S. Con. Res. 95 (108th Congress).
