Seminole Tribe, Big Cypress ProjectSec. 6012. Section 528(b)(3) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1996 (110 Stat. 3769; 113 Stat. 286) is amended by adding the following: “(5) The Seminole Tribe of Florida shall receive a mitigation credit for 50 percent of the net wetland benefits derived within the footprint of the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation Water Conservation Plan Project. Such credit may be used to meet the mitigation requirements of section 404 of the Clean Water Act as they may apply to future projects proposed by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.”.
