Fossil Energy Sec. 6018. In division E, title II of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005 (Public Law 108–447), the item relating to “Department of Energy, Fossil Energy Research and Development” is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: “: Provided further, That $1,000,000 is made available for the 119 STAT. 285 National Energy Technology Laboratory in Pennsylvania to work with the Borough of Versailles, Pennsylvania, to remediate leaks from abandoned natural gas wells”.
