SEC. 7260. INFORMATION FUNCTION. Section 242 of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5652) is amended— (1) by inserting “Administrator, acting through the” after “The”, (2) by striking “Prevention is authorized to” and inserting “Prevention, shall”, (3) in paragraph (1) by inserting “and” after the semicolon, (4) by redesignating paragraphs (1) and (2) as paragraphs (2) and (3), respectively, and (5) by inserting before paragraph (2), as so redesignated, the following: 102 STAT. 4442 “(1) on a continuing basis, review reports, data, and standards relating to the juvenile justice system in the United States;”.
