Sec. 7027. (a) Funds appropriated for intelligence activities, or made available by the transfer of funds, by this Act, by Public Law 109–108 for the Department of Justice, or by Public Law 109–115 for the Department of the Treasury, are deemed to be specifically authorized by the Congress for purposes of section 504 of the National Security Act of 1947, as amended, (50 U.S.C. 414) 120 STAT. 487 during fiscal year 2006 until the enactment of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006.(b) Subsection (a) shall be effective:(1) with respect to funds appropriated, or made available by the transfer of funds, by this Act, upon the enactment of this Act;(2) with respect to funds appropriated, or made available by the transfer of funds, by Public Law 109–108 for the Department of Justice, as if enacted on the date of enactment of Public Law 109–108; and(3) with respect to funds appropriated, or made available by the transfer of funds, by Public Law 109–115 for the Department of the Treasury, as if enacted on the date of enactment of Public Law 109–115.
