SEC. 6460. ENHANCED PENALTIES FOR USE OF CERTAIN WEAPONS IN CONNECTION WITH A CRIME OF VIOLENCE OR DRUG TRAFFICKING CRIME. Subsection (c)(1) of section 924 of title 18, United States Code, is amended— (1) in the first sentence, by striking “ten years” and inserting “thirty years”; and (2) in the second sentence— (A) by striking “ten years” and inserting “twenty years”; and 102 STAT. 4374 (B) by striking “20 years” and inserting “life imprisonment without release”.
