SEC. 6462. INCREASED PENALTIES FOR CERTAIN FIREARMS OFFENSES. Section 924(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by— (1) inserting “or 3” after “paragraph 2” in paragraph (1); (2) striking out “(g), (i), (j),” in subparagraph (a)(1)(B); (3) redesignating subsection (a)(2) as subsection (a)(3); and (4) inserting a new subsection (a)(2) to read as follows: “(2) Whoever knowingly violates subsections (d), (g), (h), (i), (j), or (o) of section 922 shall be fined as provided in this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years or both.”.
