SEC. 2336. LAND EXCHANGE, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA (a) Transfer.—Subject to subsections (b) through (e), the Secretary of the Navy may convey to Orange County, California, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a parcel of real property, with improvements thereon, consisting of approxi-101 STAT. 1225mately 137 acres located in the center of Mile Square Regional Park, Orange County, California. (b) Consideration.—In consideration for the conveyance by the Secretary under subsection (a), Orange County shall convey to the United States parcels of real property, with improvements thereon, consisting of approximately 41 total acres located adjacent to the Marine Corps Air Station, Tustin, California. (c) Payment by County.—If the fair market value of the real property and improvements conveyed by the Secretary under subsection (a) exceeds the fair market value of the real property conveyed by Orange County under subsection (b), the county shall pay the difference to the United States. Any such payment shall be covered into the Treasury as miscellaneous receipts. (d) Obligations of Parties.—The exact acreages and legal descriptions of the real property to be conveyed under this section shall be determined by surveys which are satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost of any such survey shall be borne by Orange County. (e) Additional Terms and Conditions.—The Secretary may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the transaction authorized by this section as the Secretary considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States.
