health professions preparatory scholarship program Sec. 102. (a) Section 103 (25 U.S.C. 1613) is amended by striking out subsection (d) and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “(d) The Secretary shall not deny scholarship assistance to an eligible applicant under this section solely on the basis of the applicant’s scholastic achievement if such applicant has been admitted to, or maintained good standing at, an accredited institution. 102 STAT. 4786 “(e) There are authorized to be appropriated for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this section— “(1) $3,000,000 for fiscal year 1989, “(2) $3,700,000 for fiscal year 1990, “(3) $4,400,000 for fiscal year 1991, and “(4) $5,100,000 for fiscal year 1992.”. (b) Subsection (c) of section 103 is amended by striking out “expenses” and inserting in lieu thereof “expenses of a grantee while attending school full time”.
