FAMILY HOUSING RENTAL GUARANTEE PROGRAM

SEC. 2307. FAMILY HOUSING RENTAL GUARANTEE PROGRAM Section 802 of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1984 (10 U.S.C. 2821 note), is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by inserting after “military department,” the following: “or the Secretary of Transportation with respect to the Coast Guard,”; and (B) by inserting after “constructed” the following: “or rehabilitated to residential use”; (2) in subsection (b)(3), by striking out “not”; (3) in subsection (b)(6), by inserting before the semicolon “unless the project is located on government owned land, in which case the renewal period may not exceed the original contract term”; and (4) in subsection (b)(11), by inserting after “military department concerned,” the following: “or the Secretary of Transportation with respect to the Coast Guard,”.
