REPORTING REQUIREMENT ON EXPENDITURE AMOUNTS FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH PROGRAM AND THE SMALL BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROGRAM.

SEC. 865. REPORTING REQUIREMENT ON EXPENDITURE AMOUNTS FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH PROGRAM AND THE SMALL BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROGRAM. Section 9 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 638) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)(7)— (A) in subparagraph (F), by striking “and” at the end; (B) in subparagraph (G), by adding “and” after the semicolon at the end; and (C) by adding at the end the following: “(H) with respect to a Federal agency to which subsection (f)(1) or (n)(1) applies, whether the Federal agency has complied with the applicable subsection for the year covered by the report;” ; (2) in subsection (g)(10), by inserting “, which section shall describe whether or not the Federal agency complied with the requirements of subsection (f) for the year covered by that plan and include a justification for failure to comply (if applicable),” after “a section on its SBIR program”; and (3) in subsection (o)(8), by inserting “, which section shall describe whether or not the Federal agency complied with the requirements of subsection (n) for the year covered by that plan and include a justification for failure to comply (if applicable),” after “a section on its STTR program”.
