SEC. 3502. SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION RESPONSIBILITY WITH RESPECT TO CARGOES PROCURED, FURNISHED, OR FINANCED BY OTHER FEDERAL DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES. (a) [46 U.S.C. 55305 note] In General.—Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Maritime Administration shall issue a final rule to implement and enforce section 55305(d) of title 46, United States Code. (b) Programs of Other Agencies.—Section 55305(d)(2)(A) of title 46, United States Code, is amended by inserting after “section” the following: “and annually submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on the administration of such programs”.
