PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF MILITARY RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE STTR PROGRAM.

SEC. 871. PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF MILITARY RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE STTR PROGRAM. Section 9 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 638) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(yy) Pilot Program for the Participation of Military Research and Educational Institutions in the STTR Program.— “(1) In general Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Secretary of Defense shall establish a pilot program to enable any undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree-granting military research or educational institution established under title 10, United States Code, to participate in the STTR program of the Department of Defense. “(2) Sunset The authority to carry out the pilot program under this subsection shall end on September 30, 2025.” .
