KING INSURANCE AND SAFETY FIRE COMMISSIONER DATE: MARCH 31, 2020 RE: WAIVING OF IN-PERSON CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS On March 16th, 2020, Commissioner King issued Directive 20-EX-4 that, among other things, waived in-person Continuing Education requirements for all licensed agents through April 30th. Due to the continued COVID-19 crisis, Commissioner King is waiving in-person CE requirements through May 31st, 2020. Accordingly, for any licensed agent having a CE deadline falling before May 31st, 2020, that deadline has been extended to May 31st. For any licensed agent requiring in-person CE, the requirement that the CE be obtained in-person is waived through May 31st, 2020. This extension and waiver of CE requirements for licensed agents is subject to further evaluation as the COVID-19 situation develops. John F. King JOHN F.
