Hawaii Revised Statutes §431:9A-107. All Producers licensed for Life, Accident and Health or Sickness, Casualty, Property, Surety and/or Personal Lines must complete the continuing education requirement in order to be eligible for license renewal. HRS §431 :9A-124 If you hold a Producer license for Personal Lines only, the requirement is: 24 credits, consisting of21 credits relating to P&C, and 3 credits relating to ethics training or insurance laws and rules. If you hold a Producer license for Personal Lines and Life or A&H, the requirement is: 24 credits, consisting of 10 credits relating to Life or A&H, 11 credits relating to P&C, and 3 credits relating to ethics training or insurance laws and rules. Continuing education credits must be completed within the twenty-four months prior to license renewal. The first renewals that will be affected are the August 16, 2014 renewal date.
