HAR §17-896.1-62. Accidental injury precautions

(a) The facility shall ensure that the risk of accidental injury on the premises is minimized by having accident prevention practices and policies in writing. The practices and policies shall be reviewed annually and the staff shall become familiar with the policies and practices. (b) Procedures for infection control, to use in all situations to prevent the transmission of blood-borne germs that may be spread through blood and body fluids that might contain blood shall be in writing.
