(a) A notary public shall sign on every notarial certificate, at the time of notarization, the notary public's official signature as filed with the clerk of the circuit court in the circuit in which the notary public resides and as the notary public's name appears on the notary public's notary seal. (b) The notary public shall always add to the notary public's official signature the typed or printed name of the notary public and a statement indicating the date of expiration of the notary public's commission.
