HAR §12-45.4-8. Building code

Section 1.3.6.3 is amended to read as follows: 1.3.6.3 Repairs, renovations, alterations, reconstruction, change of occupancy, and additions to buildings shall conform with the building code. [Eff ] (Auth: HRS §132-3) (Imp: HRS §132-3) (This clarifies that the general adoption by reference of NFPA 101, Life Safety Code does not apply to renovations, because it is not currently adopted by the building departments for new construction.)
