Substitute Stewards

Should any steward be absent at race time, and no approved alternate steward be available, the remaining Board of stewards must appoint a substitute for the absent steward. If a substitute steward is appointed, the Racing Commission and the racing association must be notified by the stewards. (7-1-24)
