01. Reporting Requirements. Each case of viral or aseptic encephalitis, includin g meningoencephalitis, must be reported to the Department or Health District within three (3) working days o f identification. (3-17-22) 02. Each reported case of viral or aseptic encephalitis meningoencephalitis must b e investigated to confirm the diagnosis, identify clusters or outbreaks of the infection, and identify the agent or sourc e of the infection.
