01. Restrictions - Daycare Facility. A person who is excreting E. coli O157:H7 or other STEC must not attend daycare facilities while fecally incontinent or provide personal care to children in a daycare facility while the disease is present in a communicable form without the approval of the Department or Health District. Before returning to work or attendance at a daycare, the person must provide two (2) successive approved fecal specimens collected at least twenty-four (24) hours apart, that fail to show E. coli O157:H7 or other STEC.
