Assignment Of Support Rights

The parent, or the caretaker relative included in the grant, is required by law to assign to the State their rights to chil d support payments for the household to be eligible for TAFI. The State will retain all child support collections up to th e amount of assistance that the household receives. This assignment only applies to the period of time the household i s receiving TAFI.
