Steady-State Idle Test Equipment Maintenance

Section 276 Section 276.601  Steady-State Idle Test Equipment Maintenance All operators of exhaust gas analyzers shall conduct a preventive maintenance and quality control program consisting of the following elements: a)         an HC hang-up check conducted prior to each test and after the last test of the day; HC hang-up shall not exceed 20 ppm HC prior to any test; b)         visual inspection of all equipment prior to the first test of the day; c)         performance of analyzer preventative maintenance (e.g., filter replacement, inspection and cleaning of probes, sample lines, water traps, etc.) according to manufacturer's recommended schedules and as needed; and d)         all calibration and operating procedures specified in Section 276.602.
