Section 400 Section 400.20  Definitions The words used in this Part are used with the same meaning assigned to them by statute unless clarified below. "Charitable purposes" means any charitable, benevolent, philanthropic, patriotic, or eleemosynary purpose and includes the conduct described in Section 480.20(e) of Charitable Trust Act (14 Ill. Adm. Code 480). "Contributions" means the gross amount of money raised and not merely the portion which after expenses is devoted to the charity.
