Method of Disposal

Section 5010 Section 5010.940  Method of Disposal When an agency is authorized to scrap equipment, it shall be disposed of in the following manner: a)         Scrap made of wood or paper may be burned or otherwise properly disposed of. b)         Chemicals, plastics and other non-metallic scrap for which there is no market should be disposed of in a proper manner. c)         Recyclable scrap shall be separated by type and retained until a sufficient quantity of scrap is collected to justify offering it for sale.
