Section 250 Section 250.1280  Equipment a)         The operating suite is to be equipped with the appropriate and necessary equipment and instruments for the surgical or diagnostic procedures performed. b)         The surgical suite shall have appropriate resuscitation equipment immediately available at all times. c)         A dedicated emergency call system must be present in each operating room for the purpose of alerting operating suite personnel to an emergency or life-saving situation.
