Section 2900.15  Regular Meetings a)         Section 12-1(b) of the Act provides that the Board shall meet at least once each quarter.  Meetings shall be at the time and place designated by the Board.  The Board must meet in a public building. A schedule of regular meetings designating the dates, times and places shall be announced and public notice given as required by the Open Meetings Act [5 ILCS 120].  No member of a travel control board may receive additional compensation for service as a member.  Meetings may be conducted by video conference.  If unable to physically attend a meeting, by majority vote of the Board, members may attend via telephone because of personal illness or disability, employment purposes, business for the Board, or a family or other emergency. b)         If a regularly scheduled meeting must be rescheduled, in compliance with Section 2.03 of the Open Meetings Act, a notice of change must be given 10 days prior to the meeting, published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area, and posted at the meeting location.
