NAIC nation-wide marine definition

Bulletin 35A INDIANA ADOPTS REVISED NAIC NATION-WIDE MARINE DEFINITION April 18, 1978 Indiana currently employs the 1953 NAIC Nation-Wide Marine Definition. At the December, 1976 meeting, the NAIC approved a Revised Nation-Wide Definition of Marine Insurance. All states have been urged to adopt this new Marine Definition. Indiana is adopting this 1976 Revised NAIC Nation-Wide Marine Definition for use in Indiana effective May 1, 1977. The Definition may be found in Volume 1 of the 1976 NAIC proceedings beginning at Page 612. Copies may be obtained from the NAIC or Indiana Department of Insurance. H. P. Hudson Insurance Commissioner
