410 IAC 7-26-152 Animal handling prohibition

Sec. 152. (a) Except as specified in subsection (b), food employees may not care for or handle animals that may be present, including patrol dogs, service animals, or pets that are allowed as specified in section 454(b)(2) through 454(b)(5) of this rule. (b) Food employees with service animals may handle or care for their service animals and handle or care for fish in aquariums, or molluscan shellfish or crustacea in display tanks, if the food employees wash their hands as specified under sections 141 and 142(a)(3) of this rule. (c) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) is a PF item.
