Sec. 237. (a) Food temperature measuring devices may not have sensors or stems constructed of glass, but thermometers with glass sensors or stems encased in a shatterproof coating, such as candy thermometers, may be used. (b) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) is a P item.
