511 IAC 6-7.2-15 "Service based learning" defined

Sec. 15. "Service based learning" refers to learning that: (1) integrates academic study with meaningful service experience to enrich and apply academic knowledge, teach civic and personal responsibility, and strengthen communities; and (2) includes: (A) reflection on larger social, economic, and societal issues; and (B) collaboration between students, schools, and community partners.
