511 IAC 7-32-56 "Legal settlement" defined

Sec. 56. "Legal settlement", of a student, means the student's status with respect to the school corporation that: (1) has the responsibility to permit the student to attend its local public schools without the payment of tuition; or (2) is financially responsible should the student attend school in another situation permitted by law.
