820 IAC 4-2-6 Esthetics equipment

Sec. 6. Beauty culture schools that offer a course in esthetics shall have at least the following equipment in good working condition located in a separate room for the use of esthetics students:
(1) One (1) utility table for each facility or hydraulic treatment chair.
(2) One (1) esthetician's stool.
(3) One (1) facial vaporizer.
(4) One (1) galvanic disencrustation/ionization current apparatus.
(5) One (1) high frequency apparatus.
(6) One (1) hands-free magnification lamp.
(7) One (1) electric wax heater for hair removal.
(8) One (1) utility table or countertop for each facial treatment chair or bed.
(9) One (1) facial bowl or sink.
(10) One (1) Evironmental Protection Agency registered tuberculocidal, bactericide, viricide, and fungicide disinfectant.
(11) One (1) steam autoclave or dry heat sterilizer used according to the manufacturer's instructions.
(12) One (1) closed cabinet for clean linens.
(13) One (1) covered hamper for soiled linens.
(14) One (1) covered waste receptacle.
(15) One (1) lancet safety device (waste container).
(16) One (1) box of disposable lancets.
