327 IAC 8-4.1-14 Well site denial criteria

Sec. 14. The department may deny a well site if: (1) a source of chemical or pathogenic contamination is found within the sanitary setback area that is so severe that it cannot be consistently treated or managed to a level considered safe by standards under 327 IAC 8-2.7; or (2) a chemical or pathogenic contaminant reported in the ground water quality information submitted under section 13(a)(5) of this rule is so severe that it cannot be consistently treated or managed to a level considered safe by standards under 327 IAC 8-2.7.
