A. Each new pipeline system, each pipeline system in which pipe has been relocated or replaced, or that part of a pipeline system that has been relocated or replaced, must be hydrostatically tested in accordance with this Chapter without leakage. B. The test pressure for each hydrostatic test conducted under this Section must be maintained throughout the system, or the part being tested, for at least four continuous hours at a pressure equal to 125 percent, or more, of the maximum operating pressure and, in the case of a pipeline that is not visually inspected for leakage during test, for at least an additional four continuous hours at a pressure equal to 110 percent, or more, of the maximum operating pressure.
