LAC 46:LXX.103. Definitions

A. The following terms as used in these rules and regulations, unless the context otherwise requires or unless redefined by a particular part hereof, shall have the following meanings. Administrative Procedure Act―the Louisiana Administrative Procedure Act under R.S. 49:950 et seq. Application―the written application supplied by the board of examiners to an applicant who desires to become a bar pilot for the Port of New Orleans. Bar Pilot or Pilot―a bar pilot for the Port of New Orleans as designated in R.S. 34:943. Board of Examiners or Board―the Board of Examiners of Bar Pilots for the Port of New Orleans, established in R.S. 34:942.
