LAC 46:XLVII.707. Application and Approval

A. Upon approval of the initial survey, the director of the institution shall complete and submit an application form supplied by the board office. B. The application form and proposed plans shall be submitted for board approval and the institution shall be notified in writing of the board's findings. C. Upon approval of the application, a coordinator shall be employed to develop a tentative plan for the overall program. D. The program of practical nursing shall be granted initial approval status upon implementation of the initial requirements, effective on the date of enrollment of the first class.
