A. Local school systems are encouraged to develop local criterion-referenced testing programs for local assessment use. B. Local criteria for K-12 must supplement the content standards approved by the BESE. C. Local criteria must be coordinated with statewide curricular standards for required subjects, to be developed as part of the competency-based education plan.
