Purpose

The Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts promulgates 940 CMR 40.00 pursuant to authority granted to the Attorney General under M.G.L. c. 93A, § 2(c). 940 CMR 40.00 is designed to promote the protection, health and well-being of Residents of Assisted Living Residences and to be consistent with existing legal standards.
