Michigan State University trustees and Wayne State University governors, terms. Sec.11.TheprovisionsofthisconstitutionincreasingthenumberofmembersoftheBoard of Trustees of Michigan State University and the Board of Governors of Wayne State Universitytoeight,andoftheirtermofofficetoeightyears,shallbeimplementedbylaw.The law may provide that the term of each member in office on the date of the vote on this constitutionmaybeextendedoneyear,andmayfurtherprovidethattheinitialtermsofoffice oftheadditionalmembersmaybelessthaneightyears.
