Cessation Order; Operation

PURPOSE: This rule requires an unsafe amusement ride to immediately cease operation by order of the division’s contracted inspector(s). (1) The division or a qualified inspector contracted by the division may order verbally or in writing as soon as practical a temporary and immediate cessation of operation of any amusement ride if it has been determined after inspection to be hazardous or unsafe. Operation of the amusement ride shall not resume until the unsafe or hazardous condition is corrected to the satisfaction of the division or such contracted inspector.
