Licenses Required

PURPOSE: This rule establishes the types of licenses that are required by the commission. (1) The types of licenses shall include: (A) Regular/Annual Bingo license; (B) Special Bingo and Pull-Tab license; (C) Special Abbreviated Pull-Tab license; (D) Bingo Equipment/Supplies Manufacturer’s license; (E) Bingo Equipment/Supplies Supplier’s license; and (F) Bingo Hall Provider’s license. (2) The commission shall investigate all levels of license applications. (3) The commission may delegate to the director the authority to approve or deny the application of any applicant for a Regular/ Annual Bingo license, Special Bingo and Pull-Tab license, Special Abbreviated Pull-Tab license or Bingo Hall Provider’s license, provided, however, that this section shall not limit the delegation of any other authority to the director. The delegation of authority provided hereunder shall not include the authority to review appeals of license denials or suspensions of any bingo license. (4) As part of the supplier license application process, a supplier shall either post a bond or provide an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount to be determined by the commission.
