Requirements for the Protection of Air Resources

PURPOSE: This rule sets forth the requirements for the protection of air resources pursuant to section 444.810, RSMo. The surface coal mining and reclamation operations shall comply with all applicable state and federal air pollution control laws. All exposed surface areas shall be protected and stabilized to effectively control erosion and air pollution attendant to erosion according to 10 CSR 40-3.040(5)(A).
