The intent of this information request was for the Department to determine the status and progress of Mississippi claims filed in calendar year 2007. However, it has become apparent that the information requested in Bulletin 2008-2 may not provide the Department with all of the information it needs to adequately determine how insurance companies are handling these property claims. Therefore, the Department is hereby withdrawing Bulletin 2008-2. The Department will study this matter further and will issue a new Bulletin at a later date that will provide more guidance to insurance companies as to the specific information requested and the manner in which it shall be provided to the Department.
