- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.1.1This regulation prescribes sanitary practices relating to the source, transportation,
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.1.2Authority of Regulation: The State Board of Health is authorized to promulgate
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.1.3Permits: It shall be unlawful for any person who does not possess a permit from
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.1.4Each frozen dessert manufacturer shall obtain an annual permit

- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.2.2The regulatory agency shall suspend such permit, whenever it has reason to
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.2.3Upon repeated violation(s), the regulatory agency may revoke such permit
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.1If requested in writing, a hearing shall be scheduled within the State Department
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.2Reinstatement of Permits: Any frozen dessert manufacturer whose permit has
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.3Whenever the permit suspension has been due to a violation of a requirement
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.4Bottled water that is imported into and offered for sale in the state shall be
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.5Labeling: Prior to an issuance of a permit to a manufacturer of frozen desserts
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.6
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.7An out- of-state or out-of-country bottled water plant or bottled water dealer that
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.8If, after considering the source of water and the treatment process provided by a
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.3.9Emergency Suspension of Permit

- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.4.1The Health Authority shall inspect annually each instate bottled water plant prior
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.4.2Whenever an inspection is made of a bottled water plant the findings shall be
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.4.3If violations noted on the inspection form are not corrected within the period
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.4.4The Health Authority may enter any bottled water plant, water dealer warehouse
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.4.5Out-of-state and out-of-country bottled water plants shall submit copies of current
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.5.1Application for an original or renewal permit for a bottled water plant operator or
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.5.2Each permit shall be issued only for the water dealer or the bottled water plant
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.5.3Each permit shall be issued from date permitted until December 31st each year
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.5.4Prior to approval of any application for a permit, the State Department of Health
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.6.1Prior to construction, remodeling or conversion for use as a bottled water plant,
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.7.1Any person who operates a bottled water plant or causes water to be transported
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.7.2Fees: The annual permit fee for a bottled water plant and/or dealer is specified in
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.1All water transported in bulk shall be from an approved source that meets the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.2As part of the pre-treatment process, bulk tanks, hoses, pumps and connections
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.3Tanks and filling and delivery hose connections shall be cleaned and sanitized
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.4All surfaces that come into contact with water during storage prior to transport,
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.5Bulk water transport is intended to move raw water from one area to another for
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.6Suitable shelter shall be provided that protects the transport tank and its content
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.7
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.8The cleaning tag shall be removed by the receiving plant and attached to the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.9The cleaning tag shall specify:
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.10All vehicles and transport tanks containing bulk raw water for processing,
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.11Tanks or vehicles transporting raw water for processing and bottling or processed
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.8.12Discontinuance of Operation: The Department shall order a bottled water plant or
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.1A water vending machine shall comply with the regulation for bottled water
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.2Water vending machines shall be designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.3Water contact surfaces and parts of the water vending machine shall be of non-
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.4Water vending machines shall have a guarded corrosion resistant dispensing
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.5Water vending machines shall be equipped to disinfect the vended water by ultra-
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.6Water vending machines shall be equipped with monitoring devices designed to
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.7Water vending machines shall be equipped with a self-closing, tight-fitting door
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.8Water vending machines shall be located only in retail food establishments or
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.9The floor on which a water vending machine is located shall be smooth and of
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.10Each machine shall have an adequate system for collecting and disposing
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.11Each machine shall have a backflow prevention device for all connections with
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.12The source of the water supply shall be an approved public water system
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.13Owners, managers and operators of water vending machines shall ensure that the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.14Operator Requirements
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.15Parts and surfaces of water vending machines shall be kept clean and maintained
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.16Water vending machine operators shall ensure that machines are maintained and
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.17All records pertaining to the sampling and analyses shall be retained by the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.18Each water vending machine shall have in a position clearly visible to customers
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.19The vending machine shall bear the following label in type at least one inch in
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.20When containers are provided by the operator, the caps, closures and containers
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.21The Department shall collect and analyses samples of vended water when
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.22Fees
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.23The Department shall order a water vending machine operator to discontinue the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 1.9.24The Department shall revoke a permit when it is determined that there has been a
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 2.1.141-3-15, (5) (a) and (ix), Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, gives the
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 2.1.2Adoption by Reference: The current revision of the “Grade A Pasteurized Milk
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 2.1.3Adoption of the Food Code: This Regulation adopts by reference the current
- 15 MAC Pt. 13, R. 2.1.4In the Milk Ordinance, several blank spaces are identified by three periods ("...")
