Maintenance. Upon approval of the application by MDA, if the Highway Project is a part of the designated state highway system, the maintenance after completion of the project shall be performed by MDOT. If the Highway Project is not part of the designated state highway system, the maintenance after completion shall be performed by whichever entity was authorized to do the construction or improvement.
