Resignation

Resignation.
A. A notary public who resigns his or her commission shall send to the Secretary of
State a signed notice indicating the effective date of resignation on forms provided by
the Secretary of State.
B. Notary publics who cease to reside in this State or who become permanently unable
to perform their notarial duties shall resign their commissions.
